A new learning experience has started today as I sent my first email as a coach for 5 schools in the MEA region. I am thrilled about the new role and about meeting like minded people to share our expertise and help them in their innovation journey. Hold on this is not everything! Coaches are also supposed to help school leaders:
•Assess themselves – where they stand compared to other successful and innovative schools
•Understand what their vision and goals are
•Learn how to work together and learn from each other
•Understand how technology can turn students into inquiry based learners
•Create and implement a plan for the year, and beyond
•Learn how to be mentors – how to share their learnings with others
A handful of things to do! Yet the joy is overwhelming.
